WE are missing our best defenders....
We will be terrific when they are all back...
Plus..add Jesse Lingard...and a striker...The number of games we are playing with this very good but thin squad is enormous. Do not "knock" Vlasic and Kral..let them fit into the Team...2022 could with the luck of the gods mean European football again...and a top 6 finish....The injuries have hurt badly.
Lingard will add real class and goals....
Another striker..will allow Antonio...to play less and be less in jury prone...
2022 could Be Fantastic...

Do we need to get Ogbonna/Zouma back ASAP? Absolutely.
But you will not get a better 3rd/4th choice defender playing on his wrong side, than Diop at this present time.

He wasn't giving the ball away the ball when it was easier to pass to our players all the time. The only he gave the ball away mainly was when making a clearance - most defenders give the
ball away when making a clearance - a clearance is not a pass.
Yes, his headed clearances could have gone further on occasions, but still, he made the header more often than their strikers did.
I'll say it again, he was playing on his wrong side, with a full back playing on his wrong side, too.

Diop cannot make decisions under pressure. Moyes got angry at him for twice heading the ball straight up into the air. The amount of times he gave the ball to Watford when it was easier to pass to our own was ridiculous. Also, for someone his size he got pushed all over the place today.
